7th MAPCU-MQA Higher Education Fair 2010

Organised by the Malaysian Association of Private Colleges and Universities (MAPCU) in collaboration with the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and supported by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, the MAPCU-MQA Higher Education Fair is one of the largest in town, and the most prestigious in the country, based on the profile of its participants of strong and highly-respected institutions.
As a one-stop centre for those seeking quality education in Malaysia, whether in public or private institutions, local or abroad, the fair is an ideal place to gather information and sign up for diploma, undergraduate and post graduate programmes. Many of the 50 institutions at the fair offer scholarships for high achievers, and those in need of financial help. The fair offers potential students a time-efficient opportunity to make comparisons and ask questions, under one roof, instead of driving or taking public transport from one end of town to another. Some of the institutions are from outside Kuala Lumpur, which means students get to meet and talk to counsellors and lecturers before deciding if they want to visit the campus.
Many of these institutions offer pathways to foreign higher education, and therefore, the choices of study options offered are multiple times more. Study options leading to almost all types of careers can be discussed at the fair; from medical studies to pharmacy and health sciences, hospitality, food, business, natural sciences, creative arts, media studies, humanities, engineering, architecture and law.
MAPCU has been organising this higher education fair annually, since 2004. The fair is aimed at promoting higher education in Malaysia. It is open to all students, patents, counseling teachers, education consultants as well as working adults. Admission is FREE.
