NAPEI Education Fair 2011 - the Largest Mid-Year Education Fair is back!!!
The 30th NAPEI Education Fair 2011 will be held at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, KL on 25 & 26 June 2011 (Saturday and Sunday) from 11am to 6pm. The fair is organised by the National Association of Private Educational Institutions (NAPEI) and managed by StudyMalaysia Exhibition Sdn Bhd. The official online media for the event is www.studymalaysia.com.
Endorsed by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, the fair will showcase more than 80 exhibitors taken up more than 150 booths from public and private higher educational institutions, government agencies, education consultants and foreign universities.
The fair aims to provide school leavers with SPM/STPM or pre-university qualifications with useful and important information on higher education options in Malaysia and overseas. This includes courses ranging from pre-university studies, bachelor degree programmes to postgraduate studies through various study routes, e.g. home-grown degree, 3+0 degree, twinning degree (2+1), overseas degree (foreign university branch campus), study abroad options and many more.
Students presently studying for SPM/STPM or other pre-university courses and their parents will also find this fair extremely informative particularly in helping them plan ahead. The fair will also feature a special section on education in India.
The exhibition is undoubtedly an effective platform for exhibitors and students to meet and have discussions that will help them explore their study options in Malaysia and overseas before making an informed decision on which course to pursue.
Come and meet the participating exhibitors and their education consultants face-to-face. They will be at the fair to introduce their quality higher education courses and provide professional counselling services to on-going students, school leavers and patents on various study options after SPM/O-level and STPM/pre-university studies.
Students and parents are urged to visit the fair – admission is FREE. In addition, the organiser has also arranged various activities for visitors which include door gifts, lucky draws, self-development talks and many more.
The following are among the expected 80-strong exhibitors with the highest number of booths:
• MAHSA University College, 10 booths
• International Medical University, 6 booths

The unique Malaysian higher education system offers students the opportunity to pursue a Malaysian or international qualification of their choice at a competitive rate. They can choose from US, UK, Australian or Malaysian degree qualifications designed with flexibility and affordability in mind.
There are currently more than 1 million students studying at Malaysian higher educational institutions. Among them are 86,000 international students from more than 100 countries. These students are pursuing courses at pre-university, diploma, degree and PhD levels at private higher educational institutions, public universities and foreign university branch campuses. The confidence of these students from across the globe in choosing Malaysia as an international education destination evidently shows that Malaysia is delivering quality education at an affordable cost.
Students and parents are urged to visit the fair – admission is FREE. In addition, the organiser has also arranged various activities for visitors which include door gifts, lucky draws, self-development talks and many more.

The National Association of Private Educational Institutions (NAPEI) has engaged StudyMalaysia Exhibition Sdn Bhd to manage the event.
With the strong support of 60 NAPEI members and other education institutions, NAPEI fairs have provided excellent service to parents and students in guiding them in their educational pathway. Over the years, NAPEI has shown determination and commitment in promoting education for all through its series of Malaysian Education Fairs and School Fairs. The objectives of these fairs have been to enable the members of NAPEI and other institutions to showcase their various courses and programmes to local and international students.
NAPEI represents private education providers from kindergartens to private universities including education support service providers such as publishers, education consultants, vocational trainers, language institutions, tuition centres and training providers. Many private institutions whose core business is education will be displaying their services and provide counseling sessions to parents, children and schools leavers.
Parents seeking private schools will have the opportunity to obtain first hand information from primary and secondary education providers on various specialised programmes. Parents who wish to send their children overseas for education will be able to meet experienced education consultants to enquire about the placement services offered by theses consultants. SPM school leavers will have the chance to explore academic and vocational (SKM) programmes offered by private colleges and institutions in Malaysia. A whole range of private colleges and universities providing academic and technical courses will be present at the fair to share their experience and knowledge with the public. The fair will also have pavilions for government agencies related to education to provide information for the visitors.
Students can also view publications on education in Malaysia and find out more about scholarships and loans. The fair will launch the NAPEI EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND to bring quality education to deserving students. Some of the participating NAPEI members are:
MAHSA University College; ELS Language Centre; Kolej Sri; Malaysian Institute of Art; Olympia College; PTPL College; Saito College; The Otomotif College; and others
