| Course Description | Our Diploma in Pharmacy programme prepares you to be become well-trained assistants in many pharmaceutical settings. The course introduces you to basic use of medicine, including the physiology of the human body, the effects of medicines on human body and how pharmacy services are provided in the hospital and community pharmacy. Key topics covered will include pharmacy terminology, drug prescription, pharmacy practices, inventory control and supply. In your final year, you will have first-hand experience in the aspects of a variety of pharmacy services through placements with community pharmacy, health clinics and hospital. SPM:
Pass with 3 credits including 1 science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science [Sains Am]) and 2 other subjects * Candidates who wish to further their studies to BPharm must obtain min. 5 B’s in Biology & Chemistry & Physics & Mathematics/Additional Mathematics & 1 other subject at SPM level/equivalent O - Levels: Pass with min.
