Varsity’s Grads Get Jobs Within Six Months
July 16, 2013 | Campus NewsOVER 96% of graduates from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) are employed within six months of graduation.
UNMC provost and chief executive officer Prof Christine Ennew said this was based on data from the 2011 study of graduate destinations.
“I am proud of the high level of employability among graduates.
“Our success as a university stems from the success of our graduates, many of whom hold key positions in leading organisations in Malaysia and internationally,” she said at the university’s graduation ceremony last weekend.
Prof Ennew said it demonstrated that a Nottingham degree was recognised worldwide and highly sought after by employers.
During the graduation ceremony hosted by University of Nottingham deputy vice-chancellor Prof Karen Cox and Prof Ennew, 757 students received their scrolls.
