All prepared for science practical format in SPM

PETALING JAYA: Students who are sitting for this year’s Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) are prepared for the return of the practical format for the science subjects.

Dickson Leong, 17, from Damansara, who was told by his teachers about the change in format earlier, said he and his fellow students were ready for the change.

“We know that it will be held at the science laboratories in the school during separate sessions. Actually, we have been preparing for this change since the start of the year,” he said.

Sheryn Yeo Hui Ann, 17, preferred only paper-based examinations. But, she was also informed about the format change earlier.

“Our teachers did mention this to us before. Our classes have always been in the laboratories, so we have no issue with such a change,” she added.

However, there were students who did not know about the change.
