As Curtin Sarawak is Curtin University’s largest international campus, offering Curtin degree programmes identical to those at its parent campus, degrees earned at the campus Sarawak are awarded by Curtin University. There is no difference in the quality of the degrees, their value in the market place, or in their appearance.

Curtin Sarawak further provides an undifferentiated Curtin student learning experience utilising the latest learning technologies coupled with strong student learning support mechanisms. Consequently, it is possible for students of Curtin Sarawak to transfer directly to the Perth Campus to complete their studies and graduate there if they choose to do so.

A separate graduation ceremony for students in the diploma programmes will be held at the same venue at 3 pm. A total of 103 students will graduate from the Diploma of Business, Diploma of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety, and Diploma of Process Plant Technology programmes, which are offered in collaboration with Australia’s Federation Training.

This will be followed by an Award & Scholarship Dinner at the Miri Marriott Resort & Spa at 6.30 pm in the evening.

The dinner will see students of the university being recognised for academic excellence, outstanding extracurricular activities and community service contributions. Scholarships from Curtin and its industry partners, as well as individual donors, will also be presented to deserving students.
