NAPEI's June 15 Fair at Mid Valley: Exploring the Right Institutions for Your Tertiary Education

“Not all universities or colleges are the same.” Here is the fair that can help you find out which institution is best for you so you can start your tertiary education on the right foot.

Are you sitting for SPM or ICGSE this year? Or perhaps you still haven’t decided what to study? Don’t wait! You need to come to the:

34th NAPEI Malaysia Education Fair
20 & 21 June 2015 (Sat & Sun),
Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, KL

Come and visit the 34th NAPEI Education Fair to find out more about the options you have? This is a must-visit mid-year education event for Form 5 students, SPM/STPM/UEC school leavers as well as their parents. Don’t miss it! This fair brings you the latest information on higher education opportunities, skills qualifications, and financial aid. The fair is open to all visitors from 11am to 6pm and admission is free. By meeting and speaking with experienced course counselors from universities and colleges at the fair, you can find out more about the courses, facilities, financial aid and other services offered by the universities and colleges.

Parents can also explore international school options such as day or boarding school, curriculum options, and many more – all which will assist them in making an informed choice based on their child’s schooling needs.

A. Who Are the Exhibitors

There are close to 60 exhibitors, from the following categories:

  1. Private universities, private colleges and skills training providers
    This group of institutions offer pre-university programmes, local and foreign degree qualifications, 3+0 degrees, twinning degrees, credit transfer degree arrangements, diplomas, professional degrees, accounting professional qualifications, skills-based courses and many more.
  2. International Schools
    Parents will be able to explore various schooling options at international schools which will assist them in making an informed choice based on their child’s needs.
  3. Education consultants (for those want to study abroad)
    If you’re interested in studying abroad, come meet the education consultants who specialise in education overseas. They will be able to advise you on your application process, your choice of university, and how to prepare to go abroad.
  4. Government Agencies
    There will also be booths by government agencies related to education such as:
    • PTPTN
    • Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) Scholarships
    • Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK
    • Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
    • Bahagian Pendidikan Swasta (BPS), Ministry of Education Malaysia

B. Learning More About Yourself Activities

Besides visiting the booths of various institutions, students will be able to take part in career exploration activities, brought to them by StudyMalaysia.com, to learn more about themselves. These include “My Fields of Studyworkshop” and Career Interest and Personality Tests” which are free of charge.
