College hosts carnival for the needy

June 12, 2015 | Campus News

Nearly 300 special guests had the time of their lives during the TOC Automotive College Foundation Day charity carnival in its campus in Petaling Jaya.

The special guests, mainly underprivileged children from the Zotung Refugee Catholic Learning Centre (ZRCC), Rumah Hope, Spastic Children’s Association of Selangor & Federal Territory, Agathians Shelter for Boys and Rumah Kasih Sayang Bandar Tasik Puteri, indulged in a whole day of fun and games.

The all-time favourite dunking machine was a huge hit, especially when TOC’s top management, including founder and chief executive officer Adelaine Foo, chief commercial officer Aien Mokhtar, training director Allan Cabiles and TOC Australia general manager Tim Firth volunteered for the task.

Foo was pleasantly surprised to see the turnout this year and announced that the charity carnival would be an annual corporate social responsibility event by TOC.

“This is the one day that we get to be selfless. When we have everything in our lives, sometimes we forget to be grateful and share what we have,” she said.
