Ringgit Fall a boon for local varsities

The Higher Education Ministry will find ways to help students pursuing higher education abroad. Due to the depreciation of Ringgit, many students are feeling the burden of the low currency.

According to Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh, the Higher Education Minister, the depreciation of ringgit benefits the country as more foreign students are expected to further their studies here. He also reminded students who are studying abroad not to spend lavishly.

He was speaking after launching Higher Education Week 2015 event at Putrajaya.
