The 10th StudyMalaysia Education Fair is Back with a Bigger Team!

Themed ‘One Stop Education Fair for the Right Study Choice’ the StudyMalaysia Education Fair will be back in East Malaysia for the 10^th time. To mark a decade of promoting education opportunities in Malaysia and abroad, this fair will have special highlights, activities and giveaways like never before.

In the last quarter of 2015, the StudyMalaysia Fair will be held at these venues and dates:

Sarawak:

1. Imperial Hotel (Level 5), Miri on 22 November, 12noon – 6pm; 
2. CityONE Megamall (Level 1 – Exhibition Hall), Kuching on 5 & 6 December, 10 am – 5 pm

This is a must-visit education event for SPM/STPM/UEC/A-Levels school leavers and their parents. The fair is brought to you by StudyMalaysia Media Group and is supported by the Sarawak State Education Department. The online media partner is StudyMalaysia.com. Talks on study option and activities for students are guided by the publisher of Education Guide Malaysia, Challenger Concept.

With a new venue in Miri, StudyMalaysia Education Fair could be the best platform yet for higher educational institutions to meet face-to-face with the students and parents in East Malaysia.

Calling all school leavers and parents!

Are you having trouble choosing the right course and the right college? Are you looking for higher education financial aid? Then mark these dates in your diary!Make a date with us and explore the study choices that can help you determine your career pathway and your future. Besides visiting the exhibition booth and enrolling for a place at the institutions, come meet our registered career counselors and course consultants to find out the answer to these all-important questions: “What are the most important things to consider when choosing a course?”; “What is my career interest?”; “Which field of study is right for me?” and take useful career interest assessments like “Know My Personality”.
2. Explore and determine suitable tertiary study options locally and abroad – meet face-to-face with representatives of higher educational institutions
   Designed for SPM, STPM/A-Levels and UEC school leavers as well as their parents, the fair offers the latest information on higher education opportunities showcased by Malaysia’s reputable higher educational institutions for studying locally and abroad, government agencies, scholarship providers, education consultants and many more.  There is also university from Brunei joining us.
3. Get more out of these fairs!
   The myCAREER handbook (Series 2) will be given out FREE to current Form 5 students who are visiting the fair. The 36-page myCAREER Handbook aims to help secondary students find out which careers are a good match for their personality style and consequently, identify suitable courses to pursue. Among the work activities found in the handbook are:Step 1: ‘Learning about yourself’ which comprises four career survey activities
   Step 2: ‘Knowing What Options are Out There’ which guides students on what factors to consider when choosing an occupation and deciding on education options
   Step 3: ‘Making a Decision’ which highlights how students should use the knowledge they have uncovered in Steps 1 and 2 to ultimately make a decision

In addition, student visitors can also get a pamphlet containing a description of ’27 Fields of Study‘ which introduces them to the diverse disciplines of study at tertiary level.

Don’t miss it! This event is open to all visitors from 12noon to 6pm in Miri; and 10am to 5pm in Kuching. Admission is free. Door gifts will be given to visitors at the fair (while stocks last).
