TAR UC Alumni Organises 2nd Annual TARCian Run – Run for Unity

KUALA LUMPUR, 8 June 2016: The TARCian Alumni Association (‘TAA’) which is the body for alumni of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (‘TAR UC’), will be organising its annual event “TARCian Run 2016”, on 17 July 2016 and the event is to be held at TAR UC Kuala Lumpur Main Campus in Setapak.

“The registration for the run was opened since February 2016, as of to-date, TARCian Run has successfully attracted 2,000 runners to participate and we hope to get more runners to join the run”, said the Organising Chairman, Mr Lim Kok Eng. The closing date for the registration will be on 28 June 2016.

All the runners of TARCian Run are entitled to get a free T-shirt and finisher medal for those who complete the run within the stipulated time. Total prizes worth up to RM35,000.00 are up for grabs. TARCian Run 2016 has also received much support via sponsorship from many corporations.

For the first time, TAA South, the Johor Chapter of TAA, will also be holding the TARCian Run at TAR UC Johor Branch Campus concurrently with the run at TAR UC Kuala Lumpur Main Campus.

TARCian Run 2016 is targeted to raise RM30,000.00 for TARC Education Foundation for the construction of a Student Centre in TAR UC Kuala Lumpur Main Campus. For more information on TARCIAN RUN 2016, please visit www.tarcalumni.my
