Minister Of Education Officiates Book Launching Ceremony Of “Tun M Dan Saya”

SERI KEMBANGAN, SELANGOR, 5 JANUARY 2019 – The books “Tun M dan Saya” (Bahasa Malaysia edition and “敦马和我” (Chinese edition), both published by Sasbadi Sdn Bhd, were launched by YB Dr Maszlee bin Malik, Minister of Education Malaysia. YB Dr Maszlee represented YAB Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia at Wisma Huazong today. Renowned scholar Mr Xu Sizhong is the author of “Tun M dan Saya”.

Prior to the book launching ceremony, major groups and enterprises were invited to sponsor the purchase of these titles for distribution to over 10,000 primary and secondary schools, as well as independent schools and tertiary institutions in Malaysia. As a token of appreciation, YB Dr Maszlee presented the top sponsors with a hard cover limited edition of “Tun M dan Saya” which were also unveiled during the ceremony.

Mr Law King Hui, Group Managing Director of Sasbadi Holdings Berhad said, “The titles are a suitable read for all Malaysians, especially the younger generation, to help them better understand our Prime Minister’s philosophy of life, his principles, work ethics and aspirations for our nation. They depict YAB Tun’s contributions to our nation throughout the years from a unique perspective.”

The event also featured performances of a song titled “New Malaysia” performed by students from SJK (C) Jalan Davidson and a poem titled “Tun Mahathir, A Great Man of the Generation” recited by students from SJK (C) Yuk Chai. Both the song and poem were written by Mr Xu Sizhong.
