Charterhouse UK Opens First International Campus in Malaysia

Charterhouse UK today officially launched ‘Charterhouse International Secondary School Kuala Lumpur’ at their purpose-built campus in the heart of Hartamas. The school, designed exclusively for upper secondary students, is an English-medium school that provides a modern outlook on both learning development and teaching pedagogies. 

The launch involved students, parents, and invited dignitaries, which included His Highness Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, Raja Muda (Crown Prince) of Selangor, who officiated the launch.

A speech from YM Dato’ Syed Haizam (Chairman, Board of Governors), offered insight into this special relationship, and the importance of the school to them. Other speakers included Charterhouse Forum President, Aisyah Sophea, Andrew Turner (Senior Deputy Head, Charterhouse UK), as well as Richard Davidson (Founding Headteacher of Charterhouse International Secondary School, Charterhouse Malaysia).
