JPA Scholarships 2022 for SPM2021 to Watch Out For

Here is a piece of great news from JPA (Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam) for SPM 2021 school leavers. If you have achieved excellence in the just-released SPM results, you may be eligible to apply for the following scholarships offered by JPA.

1. Program Penajaan Nasional (PPN) 2022

This programme sponsors students for studies to the top 10 universities in USA and the top 10 universities in UK, the recognition being determined by the

• Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings
• Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings
• Academic Rankings of World Universities (ARWU)

Main conditions:
Obtain a minimum of 9A+ in the following subjects

1. Bahasa Melayu
2. English
3. Mathematics
4. History
5. Additional Mathematics
6. Physics
7. Chemistry
8. Pendidikan Islam/ Pendidikan Al-Quran Dan Al-Sunnah/ Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah/ Pendidikan Moral/ Usul Al-Din/ AlSyariah/ Turath Al-Quran Wa Al- Sunnah/ Turath Dirasat AlIslamiah;
9. One (1) other subject

JPA will identify and publish the list of qualified candidates to apply via its official portal https://esilav2.jpa.gov.my/. Interested candidates can then furnish their e-profiling online.

2.Program Khas Lepasan SPM Dalam Negara (LSPM 2022)

JPA welcomes applications from excellent school-leavers of SPM2021 who have attained an achievement of at least 9A+ in the SPM, for further studies in Malaysia. Successful candidates will be offered sponsorship for their preparatory studies right up to their first degree studies in Malaysian public universities(UA), government-linked universities (GLU) and selected Private Higher Education Institutions (IPTS). Considerations for scholarship will be based on terms and conditions specified by JPA.

The list of candidates qualified to apply for the LSPM has been released on 20 June 2022 at 5.00 pm. Any enquiries can be sent by email to [email protected].

3. Program Khas Jepun, Korea, Perancis dan Jerman (JKPJ)

School-leavers who sat for SPM2021for the first time are welcome to apply for the JPA sponsored "Program Khas Jepun, Korea, Perancis dan Jerman(JKPJ) Tahun 2022'. This programme is for those who are interested to pursue further studies in the fields of Engineering, Science & Technology (S&T) and Social Science in Japan, Korea, France and Germany. Students will be sponsored for their preparatory programmes in Malaysia before proceeding to their Diploma or Degree Studies in the above countries.

Candidates are advised to read and understand the terms and conditions before applying. Kindly go to the following links:

For scholarships under Item 1 & 2, only names of candidates identified by JPA need to apply. All the scholarships cover preparatory courses to the first degree studies at institutions and universities determined by JPA.

Upon receipt of the applications, JPA will shortlist candidates to attend the SAC (Student Assessment Centre) to finalise selections.
