This programme focuses on Occupational Safety and Health Management and is multi-disciplined. Students will obtain skills and knowledge about hazard analysis procedures from various sources, risks assessment and prevention. Students will be exposed to information about hazards and risks that could happen to workers as a result of their working activities. Other fields learned include law, engineering, chemistry, biology, occupational diseases and environmental management.

For Science Stream students:

• Passed SPM/O-Level or equivalent qualifications with credits in any three (3) subjects and passed at least two (2) Science subjects (Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science/ Health Science); or

• Passed UEC with at least a Grade B in three (3) subjects and passed at least two (2) Science subjects (Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/Applied Science/ Health Science);

For Non-Science Stream students:

• Passed SPM/O-Level or equivalent qualifications with credits in any three (3) subjects and minimum credit at least one (1) Science subjects (Biology/ Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science/ Health Science); or

• Passed UEC with at least a Grade B in three (3) subjects and passed at least one (1) Science subjects (Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science/ Health Science);

Occupational Safety & Health Officer (in agriculture, transportation (airport), oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, commerce, healthcare, consultation, insurance, government agencies and other institutions).
