Nilai University’s B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing is approved by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education and the Malaysian Nursing Board (under the Ministry of Health). The programme will equip you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of health, behavioural and nursing sciences as well as focusing on management and leadership skills. Teaching will be conducted through lectures, laboratory classes and hands-on practical sessions at both public and private healthcare institutions. Upon the completion of this programme, you will find yourself well-prepared for a professional career in nursing and management.  

* Tamadun Islam & Tamadun Asia and Hubungan Etnik are meant to be for local students while Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi 2 and Pengajian Malaysia 3 are for international students.

• STPM or equivalent: CGPA 2.50
• A-Level: 3Cs
• Foundation/Diploma in Science: CGPA 2.50
• Diploma in Nursing (recognized by MNB): Pass with minimum two(2) years clinical working experience

• SPM / O-Level or equivalent credits in
  • Bahasa Melayu (SPM only)
  • Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern)
  • Any of the following science subjects: Science / Biology / Chemistry / Physics / Applied Science
  • English
• UEC: 5Bs
  Mandatory credit in:

  • Any of the following science subjects: Science / Biology / Chemistry / Physics / Applied Science
  • Two (2) other subjects
  • Pass(C8) English

English Language Requirement (for local and international students)*

• MUET: Band 3 OR
• IELTS: 5.5 OR
• TOEFL: 515 (PBT)/80 (iBT) OR
• Credit in English(SPM)

*International students with qualifications from educational systems where English language is the main medium of instruction are exempted from this requirement.

International students who do not fulfil the English Language Requirement may join the Intensive English Programme at Nilai University which builds their skills in the language and prepares them for the TOEFL examination.
