| Course Description | The programme is designed to equip students with the essential knowledge, skills and attitude to explore technology-based ventures.
Combining theory and practice and real world experience, the programme covers key technical knowledge in techniques of analysing user requirements and specifications, programming and website creation. The systematic development of innovative thinking and creative problem solving skills is given emphasis in the programme. Students will also gain exposure to the major elements of entrepreneurship activities. Upon completion, students will have the ability to apply the concepts and technologies to practice, grooming them for further studies, careers in software development or technopreneurship.

NOTE: ELECTIVE MODULES : Open Electives Total 9 credits : Students to do 3 open electives, module of 3 credits each offered under any of the Diploma / ADP programmes in Taylor’s University. * The ministry of Education (MOE) requires all students to take Mata Pelajaran Umum (MPU) (i.e. General Studies) which is catagorised under U1, U2, U3 and U4 within the duration of their studies. U1 modules are prescribed by MOE whereas U2, U3 and U4 modules are from a lost of University Core Modules (UCM) prescribed as per the Programme Guide. |
