Our academic staff realize the importance of sharing our research experience with students and building a partnership with students, while actively engaging and promoting research in diverse fields. For Doctorate of Philosophy (Science): Qualifications Academic Requirements M. Sc. - A relevant Master’s degree from an institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate; OR - Other certificates that are recognised as equivalent to a Master’s degree or other relevant professional qualifications and experiences that are recognised by the Senate; OR - A relevant bachelor’s degree with first-class honours may convert their candidacy to the PhD programme after one year of studying at the Master’s level and with approval from the Senate; OR - Candidates of UCSI University’s Master of Science by Research who have passed the conversion examination.
