| Course Description | Natural resources could create wealth but must be sustainably exploit. Therefore, the program that we intend to introduce will give special attention to the use of science and technology towards maintaining a balance environment that will contribute to the development and formation of a technology-wise society. In line with the university's mission, vision and goals towards making UMK a center of excellence in both academic and research in the area of ??Environmental Management, Natural resources and Entrepreneurship, this program will produce graduates who are knowledgeable and skilled to manage our natural resources effectively while maintaining the environment. The environment being an important component of life, while maintaining stability, natural resources potential will be optimized while maintaining economic growth possible. |
| Entry Requirements | GENERAL CONDITIONSSTPM and equivalent1. Passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia paper in July. and; Matriculation or equivalent1) Pass SPM / equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper; and
2) Pass KPM Matriculation / UM Foundation Science / Foundation Law with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; and, 3) A minimum Level 1 (Band 1) in the Malaysian University Bahasa Inggeris Test (MUET). 4) Students who have a Diploma with CGPA 2.00 (Grade C), and the fields of science and technology can be considered for the program. SPECIAL CONDITIONSSTPM and equivalent1) A minimum of CGPA 2.00 and Grade C (CGPA 2.00) at STPM level in the following subjects:
a) Biological and b) One (1) of the following subjects: i. Physics II. Chemistry iii. Mathematics T iv. Further Mathematics T 2) Candidates who do not have the approval of the subjects Mathematics T at STPM level must be passed with distinction Additional Mathematics at SPM level; and 3) A minimum credit at SPM level in the following subjects: • English; and • Mathematics Matriculation1) A minimum of Grade C (2.00) at the Matriculation level in any of the following subjects: • Biology; and • Any ONE (1) of the following subjects: a. Physics b. Chemistry c. mathematics; and 2) A candidate who does not have the approval of mathematics at Matriculation must be passed with distinction Additional Mathematics at SPM level; and 3) A minimum credit at SPM level in the following subjects: • English; and • Mathematics |
